Michael Redhair was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.  Mike attended Arizona State University on a basketball scholarship.  While at ASU, Mike excelled in the classroom and on the basketball court.  Mike received numerous awards for his academic achievements.  He was also featured in a national publication for student-athletes who achieved success in school and in their sport.  Mike was voted the ASU’s most valuable player his senior year.

After obtaining his degree in Business Administration, Mike played professional basketball in Europe.  Upon his return, he attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where he graduated with honors.  Mike returned to Tucson where he began his legal career doing insurance defense work.  He worked at Chandler, Tullar, Udall & Redhair defending law suits filed against his clients.  The majority of Mike’s cases involved medical malpractice and automobile accidents, although Mike defended a vast array of other types of cases.  After learning the nuances of insurance defense work, Mike went to work for Kinerk, Beal, Schmidt & Dyer.  Mike’s practice changed to focusing on representing clients who were injured by the negligence of healthcare providers.  In fact, one of Mike’s Lasik cases garnered the largest verdict in the nation in a Lasik cases.  That case stands today as the largest verdict involving Lasik surgery.
In 2003, Mike started his own firm focusing on representing Plaintiffs.  Mike’s emphasis continues to be prosecuting cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, automobile accidents any various other types of cases involving catastrophic injuries.

Mike was recently selected as one of the “Top Lawyers in Tucson” by Tucson Lifestyle Magazine and has taught the Arizona State Bar course on professionalism over the last few years.  Mike’s Lasik case garnered national attention in numerous legal and medical publications.  He also volunteered his time with for the Arizona Trial Lawyers publications Committee, Pima County Continuing Legal Education Committee and Courts Are Us mentoring high school students on legal careers.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family but he finds time to officiate high school and college basketball.
